What counts as a project?
A project is your entire deployment pipeline for one Umbraco site: localhost development machines, dev server, UAT, staging, production, and load-balanced production servers. All environments in that pipeline are covered by a single license. Multiple developers working on the same project share the same license.
Can I try before buying?
Yes. Start a 30-day free trial with full Pro features — no payment until the trial ends. You can also use the Community tier (free forever) for schema sync. If you decide to buy, the 30-day money-back guarantee means zero financial risk.
What happens when my license expires?
For Pro and Agency annual licenses, your Umbraco site keeps running — DoubleSync never locks your content. Paid sync features fall back to the Community tier (schema + diff) until you renew. For Perpetual, your license covers every Umbraco major from purchase up to one before the next LTS. When the next LTS ships, paid features fall back to Community until you pay €200 to renew the key.
Do I need a license per person?
No. Licensing is per project, not per seat. Your whole team uses one license. The Pro and Agency feature sets are identical — the only difference is project count: Pro covers one Umbraco project (dev / uat / prod), Agency covers unlimited projects.
How does pricing compare to Umbraco Deploy?
From January 2026, Umbraco Deploy On-Premises is €2,800 / year for new customers (umbraco.com pricing change). Cloud-bundled Deploy starts at €45 / month on Starter and €280 / month on Standard, but ties you to Umbraco Cloud hosting. DoubleSync Pro is €500 / year and works on any Umbraco install — self-hosted, Cloud, on-prem, containerised — with no per-environment fees.
Which Umbraco versions are supported?
DoubleSync requires Umbraco v17 or later, running on .NET 10. It is built for the modern Umbraco backoffice (Lit web components) and tested against the latest releases.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept all major credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Amex), plus local payment methods depending on your country (iDEAL, SEPA, Bancontact, MBWay, and more). For bank transfer (BACS/wire), contact us for a manual invoice.
Can I switch between plans?
Yes. Upgrade Community → Pro or Pro → Agency at any time from your account page. The feature set doesn't change between Pro and Agency, only the project count and support SLA. If you switch from annual to Perpetual we credit your remaining subscription. Downgrades take effect at the end of your billing period.
