Media Sync

Sync media library structure and binary files between environments.

What Gets Synced

Media sync transfers your media library structure between environments:

Folder hierarchy — folders and nested folders

Media items — all metadata and property values

Binary files — optional transfer of the actual image/document/video files

Binary Blob Transfer

By default, media sync transfers metadata only. Enable binary blob transfer to also move the actual files (images, PDFs, videos, etc.). Binary transfer uses streaming to handle large files efficiently. When using Azure Blob Storage, files are transferred via the blob container rather than HTTP.

Referenced Media Auto-Inclusion

When you sync a content document that references media items (via Media Picker, Image Cropper, etc.), DoubleSync automatically includes those media items in the sync. You don't need to manually identify and sync media dependencies.

Requirements

Media sync requires a Pro, Agency, or Perpetual license.
