1. Agreement
By purchasing or using DoubleSync (“the Software”), you agree to these terms. DoubleSync is a product of Double Shore (“we”, “us”).
2. License Grant
Upon purchase, we grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use DoubleSync according to the tier you purchased:
- Community — Free. Schema sync features only. No restrictions on use.
- Pro — Annual subscription. All features for one project (all environments in a single deployment pipeline).
- Agency — Annual subscription. All features for unlimited projects.
- Perpetual — One-time purchase. All Pro features for the current major Umbraco version. 12 months of updates included.
3. What Counts as a “Project”
A project is your entire deployment pipeline for one Umbraco website: local development machines, development server, UAT, staging, production, and load-balanced production servers. All environments in that pipeline are covered by a single license. Multiple developers working on the same project share one license.
4. License Keys
License keys are tied to your account and must not be shared publicly. If a key is compromised, contact us for a replacement. We reserve the right to deactivate keys that are being used in violation of these terms.
5. Subscription Renewal
Pro and Agency subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date. You can cancel at any time via the billing portal in your account. Upon cancellation, sync features stop at the end of the current billing period. Your Umbraco site continues to operate normally.
6. Perpetual License Updates
Perpetual licenses include 12 months of updates from the purchase date. After 12 months, the software continues to work but will not receive updates for newer Umbraco major versions. Renew updates for €200/year.
7. Refund Policy
We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee on all paid licenses. If DoubleSync does not meet your needs, email us within 30 days of purchase for a full refund. No questions asked.
8. Data and Privacy
DoubleSync runs entirely within your infrastructure. Synchronized content, schema, media, and user data never passes through our servers. See our Privacy Policy for details on how we handle account data.
9. Support
Community users receive community support via documentation. Pro users receive email support. Agency users receive priority email support with faster response times.
10. Limitation of Liability
DoubleSync is provided “as is”. We are not liable for data loss, downtime, or other damages arising from the use of the Software. Always test sync operations in a staging environment before applying to production. The auto restore point feature provides safety nets but is not a substitute for proper backups.
11. Changes to Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email to active license holders. Continued use of the Software after changes constitutes acceptance.
